| Russians are a very affectionate and low maintenance breed of cat. They are devoted to humans and love human companionship. Russians do like to play fetch and can easily be taught to retrieve a small light weight toy or ball of paper. They like to be with their family so being indoors is ideal. They really enjoy a cuddle on the lounge and lazing in the sunny spots in the house when no-one is home to cuddle up to. Russians make great family pets and are wonderful with children. As they like to be cuddled and carried around they are often ideal companions for children. They cope well with other friendly family pets. Russians don't overly mind being in a one cat household but cats can be much more fun when there are two. Watching them play together can create hours of enjoyment for all. Russians are a short coated breed of cat so only minimal grooming is required if at all. They don't mind a bath too much and it is recommended for cat coat and skin health to wash your cat at least once to twice per year. Russians are born with blue eyes that slowly change to green with age. About the time kittens go home their eyes are beginning to change into the vivid green colour of an adult Russian. When seeking to purchase your Russian try to do so from a reputable registered breeder rather than a pet shop. We often have quality kittens available but on occasions we do work from a waiting list. Our beautiful, playful kittens are ready to go to their new homes at around 10.5 weeks of age. The cost for a pet kitten is currently $700.00 for Russian Blue kittens, and $850.00 for Russian Black or White kittens. This price includes the first and second vaccinations, Veterinary check, worming, information booklet, kitten food pack and micro-chipping. On occasions we have sterilised adult cats for sale or older kittens which would be at a reduced price POA. We are located in Perth Western Australia. We definitely allow our kittens to fly interstate or overseas to go to their new owners if required, further minimal fees apply for travel to the airport and postage of paperwork. Airfare at new owners' expense. As Russians are cheaper to purchase in Western Australia than in other states it is still cost effective to purchase from WA and pay for the airfare.
